Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar PAI dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran PAKEM pada Siswa Kelas IX.A SMPN 2 Bajeng Barat

The success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom is largely determined by the learning strategy, no matter how complete and clear the other components are, without implementing the right strategy, these components will have no meaning in the process of achieving learning objectives. Therefore every teacher who will teach is required to apply certain strategies or methods in the implementation of learning, in order to achieve meaningful learning outcomes for the interests of future students. This research is based on the following problems: (a) How is student achievement increased in the subject of Islamic Religious Education by implementing the PAKEM learning model? (b) How do you apply the PAKEM learning model so that it can improve student achievement? While the aims of this study were: (a) To find out the increase in student achievement after implementing the active, creative, effective and fun learning model strategy (PAKEM), (b) Want to know how to apply the PAKEM learning model which can improve student achievement. This study uses action research (action research) as much as three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: design, activity, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is class IX students. A SMPN 2 Bajeng Barat. The data obtained is in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (71.00%), cycle II (89.00%), cycle III (96.00%). The conclusion from this study is that the PAKEM learning model can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of class IX.A students of SMPN 2 Bajeng Barat, so that it can improve student learning outcomes. So it is suggested that this learning model can be used by educators as an alternative that can increase student motivation and learning outcomes in PAI learning.
